Inauguration of Ma Tara Sundari Devi Gaushala

Implementing Our Mission towards Animal Welfare:
Seva, Education, and the Monumental Success of Our New Gaushala
Rooted in the Vaishnava principle of seva (selfless service), our Ashram in the holy land of Nabadwipa has always extended its vision beyond its own walls. We remain profoundly dedicated to uplifting the local community while providing an enriching spiritual environment for seekers, philosophers, and devotees from around the world.
The Ma Tara Sundari Devi Gaushala:
A Transformed Sanctuary
The crowning jewel of our recent charitable initiatives is the complete revitalization of our Gaushala. What was once a humble cowshed in a dilapidated condition has been entirely reimagined and rebuilt into a monumental success of care and devotion.
Inaugurated on October 18, 2025, the new Mata Tara Sundari Devi Gaushala stands as a pristine 900-square-foot temple of care. This massive undertaking was brought to fruition under the devoted stewardship of our President. Driven by the charitable hearts of our global devotee community—with notably generous contributions from Sri Ganesh Chandra Ghosh (Founder of Kolkata's prestigious and renowned heritage dessert house Ghosh & Co.) and Smt. Mallika Ghosh, we were able to successfully raise and disburse approximately INR 7,00,000 to construct this sanctuary.
Modern Amenities & Dedicated Care Thoughtfully designed for the absolute comfort and sanctity of our sacred Gau mātās, the fully equipped facility features:
-
State-of-the-art hay cutters to ensure nutritious, easily digestible feed.
-
Dedicated water channels for constant access to clean drinking water.
-
Advanced drainage facilities to maintain impeccable hygiene and safe disposal.
Today, our beloved cows—Lakshmi, Ganga, Yamuna, and Krishna—reside peacefully in this beautiful home, nurtured daily by the tender and selfless service of our dedicated Gau Palak.
A Ripple Effect of Compassion
The remarkable transformation of the Mata Tara Sundari Devi Gaushala has not only provided a haven for our own Gau mātās but has also established our Ashram as a standard for devoted animal welfare. The sanctuary has become such a monumental success that nearby temples are now actively reaching out, seeking to entrust their cows to our ashram so they may also benefit from our exceptional facilities and unwavering, nurturing care.
We invite all devotees to visit this sacred space, perform Gau Pūjā, and experience the profound spiritual blessings that flow from serving these divine beings.
